I have not had a lot of opportunity to travel since taking up photography as a hobby.  But my wife and I plan more as we approach retirement.  My first time "over the pond" was to attend a scientific conference in Dublin, Ireland.  Another "science" trip took me to Sweden and Norway.  This second trip was the first time I owned a DLSR!
